"Christine is a woman whose calling is to proclaim the word of God. I pray God's blessing upon her ministry and that it will be covered by the blood of Christ. Christine has blessed me in many ways, but the most significant is the research done on my name. I felt my name hampered my walk with the Lord since my name was the same as the "Goddess Diana". This frustration was mentioned during a Bible Study time that Christine and I were involved in. She felt prompted by the Lord to research my name and, even though most definitions pointed toward the pagan goddess, she believed God was telling her to search deeper. As she searched, she found the Hebrew definition of my name, as well as the meaning of my middle name. The information revealed allowed me a new understanding about how Christ saw me. Not only was my life part of His purpose, but my name was given as part of His plan! I am so thankful that Christine shared this research with me. Christine's Testimony
Christine came to know the Lord the summer before her fourth grade year. In learning more about the Lord, she came to understand that each of us has an important role to play in the Kingdom of God. Through her walk with the Lord, she learned the value each of us has and how, no matter how small, invisivble or public our lives seem to be, we all have an impact that reaches out to touch the lives of many people. By allowing God to lead her through her life, she has learned that relationship with the Lord is NEVER dull! Through prayer, Bible study, fasting, and being a sponge of multiple speakers and authors the Lord has taken her on an incredible journey of deepening intimacy and relationship with Him. What an awesome journey! God has used each stage of her journey to teach specific concepts such as the following.
The Lord has been gracious to allow Christine to develop while continually ministering to individuals, groups and churches in the process. What a wild ride! This journey has taken some unexpected turns! After receiving an MBA she went on to the working world, and then moved on to business ownership. Upon the birth of their first child, she and her husband, John, decided to sell the business so that she could stay home. During her time as a stay at home mom, she and John were also blessed with a second child! However, God still allowed her to gain new insights and growth throught numerous positions both as volunteer and paid staff of the church. Christine draws from these experiences to speak to people in all walks of life. The Lord has been gracious to lead her on a "treasure hunt" of discovery during her time in these roles. By wearing so many different "hats", both visible and behind the scenes, God has allowed numerous opportunities for her to gain insight and multi-level perspectives on human and church dynamics while revealing His heart for the Church. She lives her life with the desire to know God more intimately and to extend His grace and love, through His abundant provision, to those around her. God graced Christine with an incredible and Godly man, John, who she has been married to for 17 years. They have two children. |
