RMI Ministry Pursuits

The ministries of RMI work on local, national and international levels. We equip and train believers in the process of Christian growth and maturity. Although women are our main focus, we often speak into the lives of men, teens and children, typically through global missions and couple’s groups. Conferences/Workshops--The overall focus of RMI is on “Developing A Lifestyle of Intimacy with God" follows Biblical precepts and includes: how to dialogue with God, hearing God’s voice, encouraging ourselves and each other, leadership, wise counsel, and mentoring, and biblical study. Christine brings practical applications for today’s journey with Christ. Through a conversational approach, attendees are encouraged to learn in an interactive environment that includes teaching and immediate application of spiritual tools. Global Missions--Global missions center on a conference style approach aimed toward developing believers. Poor transportation, no internet access, and poverty often prevent many from additional resources for growth in the Lord. At conferences in local churches, women are exposed to tools that deepen their Christian walk and underscore the fact that they are part of a larger support system. RMI seeks to represent God’s love, encourage hearts, and impart spiritual tools to facilitate post-conference growth. In addition, times of prayer and encouragement are incorporated into the sessions. Click here for more information/pictures from our international conferences.

Couple’s Ministry--The couple’s ministry at RMI continues to evolve. John and Christine facilitate open discussion of Biblical principles and ideas in a laid back atmosphere. The group discusses ways to enhance their Christian lives and brings both testimony and Biblical support as preparation for discussion. The evening typically ends with a time of prayer. We often invite the children of our families to participate in prayer. The fruit?
  • Restoration of giftings.
  • Children praying for others with their parents
  • Seeing God work in our lives.
  • Husband and wife working together relying on each other’s strengths in ministry situations.
We have found most couples do not have opportunities to minister together. The couple’s group provides hands on opportunities to see the individual gifts of each person combine with the gifts of his/her spouse to become a unified force through which God works. The group meets twice a month.
