RMI Newsletter for April-July 2011
Dear Ministry Friends and Family,
Thank you for your continued support of Radiant Ministries. We write to you with thankful hearts for the intercession you lift up for us. We are so blessed to have such incredible men and women of God as our ministry partners!

Last August…was it only a year ago?...The Lord told Christine in prayer that January of 2011 would transition her into a season of training.  First, He took her into a time of deep intimacy and study in the Fall of 2010.  Then in January, He placed Christine in a position of leadership on her local church campus in the mentoring ministry (wow!  Mentoring--A RMI heart passion!).  Not only was she able to sow into her local church, she was able to work with an active and successful ministry. In addition, she had the honor to be mentored by a woman with 25 years of experience in mentoring ministries!
 
She entered a season of training: the position mentioned above, lay counseling training, and One-on-one training from Him.  It was a season that was very intense!  Of course, RMI participated in a conference in Mississippi (see our last newsletter for details) and RMI's Radiant Light Mentorship Program continued during this time, as well.
 
The Lord is always gracious. For every time of intense training, He offers a season of rest. In May, the time for rest came. It was a protected time of refreshing for “standing” on God's promises. This season also offered a time to prepare for the transition coming.      
 
Please continue your prayers.  “Dreams” the Lord placed in Christine's heart are coming to pass. The desire to step more solidly into curriculum development, writing and teaching is also being given an opportunity and place to come forward in several areas. 
 
We are SO thankful for your continued prayer covering.  We have been blessed over and over by your words of encouragement and blown away by your faithfulness in lifting RMI up continually in your prayers. 
 
We love each of you and pray diligently for you and your continued growth in God!

January-March 2011 Encounters Conference
The Encounters Conference was incredible! Based on Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know," the conference sought the mysteries of God. We went through a beautiful time of discovery together.

Friday night we were blessed with the anointed worship of Janet Watson. Then we were doubly blessed to be joined by F.A.V.O.R., a dance group that celebrates the Lord and the freedom He brings to women! Christine explored "The Choice On The Mountain" and saw the effort God made to restore relationship with His people. Through the idea of Ketubah, or marriage contract, we recognized the great effort God has made to bring His Presence back into our lives. Our choices and sin have kept us from being able to connect with Him, but through relationship, brought about by the sacrifice and victory of Jesus, we are able to have an intimacy with the Lord that goes beyond our current understanding. The intimacy we have with the Lord grows as we continue to seek His face, nature and love.

We delayed the personal ministry time so that each person could spend time communicating with God. The presence of God was so sweet. Many were brought into a new understanding of His desire to communicate with Him. Many were touched where they stood, but some came to the alter to pray and weep as His love ministered directly to their hearts. When this time was complete, we moved into a personal ministry time. Many received prayer for their needs.

Saturday, we explore what to do when God speaks to our hearts. Then, we went through the process of how to look at that information and understand how to be confident in what God is saying. We had a workshop where groups gathered and unpacked the information.

Brenda Lockley co-pastors DeKalb Assemblies of God and was in attendance at the conference. She talked to Pastor Steven Lockley and they agreed to invite Christine to speak to their congregation on Sunday morning. She accepted. The Lord provided a special message for the church about shifting our mindset to recognize the "Nearness of God." A beautiful time of ministry followed.

Year in Review
Hello RMI Friends and Family!

2010--A year of Promises Fulfilled and Preparation! God’s hand moves to direct Christine and RMI toward fulfillment of many more of His promises in the areas of women’s ministry, mentorship, and global missions!

God expanded RMI’s global missions focus to include India. The Lord is faithful to open doors. He prepared the way through words of promise and caused things to fall into place leaving no doubt He is able! The 2010 adventure: Northern India mission trip for two women’s conferences.

For the first conference, Christine joined a team of eight women. They spoke, prayed, and ministered to over 400 women attendees. The session she led was titled, “Forgiveness for Negative Vows and Judgments.” The session was powerful; incorporating all team members and including the elements of dance, drama, and teaching. The women found the freedom Christ brings as they released false identities and hurts to the Lord. Christine shared Biblical “tools” to help them continue in the process of freedom and growth. She led a prayer asking God to fill those places with His presence, healing love, and promises! Several women also came forward to accept Christ for the first time!

Christine joined three ladies for the second conference. It was held in a Himalayan mountain village and focused on teen girls. Originally told to expect 30 girls; all were surprised when men, women and children joined the conference! The church was filled to capacity with closer to 100 people hungry to learn more about the Lord! Christine spoke at two of the sessions. She covered how God reveals our identities and the importance of living a “Lifestyle of Purity.” During the conference, the Lord overwhelmed attendees with His presence and many testified to being touched by the Lord. The Lord blessed this “church in the hills.” The conference came to a close but the band played for several more hours and people danced and laughed in the joy of the Lord!

Upon her return, Christine and John began a couple’s group based on the early New Testament church where families would come together to discuss the Lord. The environment continues to provide a safe haven for growth, discussion, and exploration of how to live lives of fullness in God. We saw great miracles healing and restoration. God moved in the hearts of husband and wife, parents and children, and brothers and sisters in Christ as they ministered together. We look forward to what God will do in 2011.

From the beginning of RMI’s ministry in 2008, the Lord pinpointed an area of great need in the church: mentorship! RMI immediately began its Radiant Light Mentorship Program©. As of today, ten women have become Torches. However, RMI has mentored other women in more informal relationships. Some of the Torches live locally, while others live in other states and connect through phone conversations. The women, each with a unique calling in the Kingdom, range in ages from 20s to 50s. At this time, all have been in areas of leadership in their local churches and/or has formal ministries of their own.

What does 2011 hold for RMI? New areas and new ground!
March conference in Mississippi! March 4-5, 2011. Friday night will focus on discovering and living in our Christ given identities. Saturday will focus on what to do when God speaks. The first session will give Biblical precedent on HOW God speaks. In the second session, Christine will conduct a workshop unpacking that revelation.

Global missions: RMI is continuing in the focus of global missions. Christine has several opportunities to lead teams or participate on teams to different areas in the world. The RMI team is prayerfully considering the Lord’s direction on place and timing.

Mentorship: In keeping with her firm belief that all should be part of his/her local church, Christine joins the mentorship ministry at her church. RMI’s mentorship program will continue, but she will also spend time working directly with women in the local body of believers and encouraging each on her walk with the Lord. Christine will be enriched by being part of a larger team (100+ women mentor in this program) and gain additional training in mentorship. In addition, she has the joy of forming relationships with women who are spiritual moms and have much wise counsel in this area of ministry.

Foundation Building: Christine and John continue training and development in the areas of their spiritual gifts through formal and informal training. Christine proceeds with curriculum for conferences and workshops while expanding her ability to communicate through the various forms of media available today.

2010 has been an incredible year and we expect 2011 to be even better! We are so thankful for your prayers, counsel and monetary support in this ministry.
